I agree that Ruth should have been inducted by 100% of the voters, but just because a mistake was made in the past, does not mean that it needs to be repeated in the future.

As for Maddux, I'm confused about your comment. I have nothing but respect for him, and believe he should also be inducted unanimously. I don't think that Rickey should be the only player ever

This must be the guy who was quoted a few years ago saying he would never vote for someone on their first year of eligibility because no one deserves to be unanimous.

As a member of the sports media, his vote and his reasoning behind his vote are embarrassing.

Henderson was obviously a better player than Raines to anyone who watched any baseball during the 1980s and early 1990s. And Simpson is biased in his vote for Williams, because Williams has no business being in the Hall.
